I want to hold on to this memory of today — went to Pink Hat Day with my son to donate my hair. Almost 6–7 years of dedication to grow it long enough (35cm — yay!).

It’s only my second time donating, but I’m truly inspired by the amazing people in our country who grow their hair just to give it away. They even shared different tips on how to make hair grow faster, thicker, and healthier — something I’m not quite that dedicated to yet. I simply try to limit hair dyeing or heat styling to keep it as natural as possible.

I was also touched by a young boy who grew his hair very long for donation, even though he was bullied and teased by his classmates — yet he stayed strong and believed in doing the right thing.

P.S. I loved how my donated hair happened to fall into a heart shape on the table — a little coincidence 😊
