I’ve written a few posts about manifestation based on a book I recently read on the topic. The title itself is very appealing: “Manifest: 7 Steps to Living Your Best Life” by Roxie Nafousi.
It provides a practical guide to understanding and practicing manifestation through Roxie’s 7-Step Guide to Manifesting:
- Be clear in your vision
- Remove fear and doubt
- Align your behaviour
- Overcome tests from the universe
- Embrace gratitude without caveats
- Turn envy into inspiration
- Trust in the universe
What’s important is that these seven steps are not meant to be followed in order — they need to be practiced all at the same time.

In recent years, we’ve talked a lot about manifestation, and sometimes we even manifest things unconsciously, without realizing that we’re doing it. At least, that’s been true for me.
I don’t know enough about manifestation to judge whether this is the definitive book on the topic, but I do think it’s a good book for:
- Beginners who are just starting to learn about manifestation.
- People who prefer practical exercises and don’t know where to begin.
- Those who need a bit of spiritual belief during chaotic times — something to hold onto or believe in.
Beyond the practical steps, Roxie also explains manifestation from a scientific perspective. For example, she discusses how emotions and feelings strongly influence us, especially when viewed on a spectrum from low vibration to high vibration.

If we can experience more high-vibration emotions than low-vibration ones — such as unconditional love, peace, joy, gratitude, kindness, enthusiasm, optimism, hope, confidence, and contentment — our lives begin to shift.
Some highlights and notes I kept for myself from the book, before passing it on to my younger sister at work:
- To achieve what we want, we must feel and immerse ourselves in the emotion of already having it. We attract what we feel.
- When our emotions and feelings change, our vibration changes — and so does our life.
- “Can I look at this from another perspective?” is a powerful question when facing low-vibration emotions.
- Replace “if” with “when” — doubt can weaken manifestation.
- Talk about what you want, not what you don’t want.
- Practice affirmations in the morning and at night before sleeping. Start with 4–5 sentences. This helps rewrite our internal narratives with positivity instead of fear and doubt.
- Stop judgment, regret, and toxic self-talk.
- Say NO to what you don’t want to do.
- Your past does not define you — or your future.
- You can only change your life by changing your daily habits.
At its core, manifestation is deeply connected to your values — shaped by your thoughts, energy, daily practices, habits, relationships, the behaviors you accept from others, and your willingness to step outside your comfort zone.
I’m practicing manifestation myself — and I hope you will too, during and after reading this book.
Thank you, and happy holidays to you and your family.
