2026 Reading Wishlist

,

I made a commitment to myself: to buy fewer books and read more, not the other way around. So, I ‘allow’ myself to buy one new book only after finishing two.

With that in mind, I’ve started a selective reading list, gathered from recommendations by friends and colleagues. Whenever I have a quota to buy a new book, I’ll return to this list and choose thoughtfully.

  • The Fearless Organization
A practical and research-based book on psychological safety, helping teams create environments where people feel safe to speak up, make mistakes, and learn—closely aligned with the assignment I’m currently working on in my company.
  • Let Them Be
A gentle reminder to release control over others, encouraging acceptance, emotional boundaries, and peace by allowing people to be who they are—shared by one of our P&C managers.
  • A Simpler Life
A reflection on slowing down and living with intention, inviting readers to reconsider success, consumption, and what truly brings meaning—recommended by our ED&I Leader.
  • The Art of Being Fragile (L’arte di essere fragili) – shared by a member of the ED&I Community.
  • The Metamorphosis – Franz Kafka
A powerful short novel about alienation, identity, and conditional love, following a man who becomes “useless” to society and family after a sudden transformation—recommended by my friend, Mustapha.

If you have any book recommendations, I’d love to hear them.
I’ll keep this list continuously updated.

Thank you.
