My first session in my journey to become an ICF coach with Coach Companion began with a simple question: choose one picture that represents who I am today and who I will be after the course.
The first word that came to my mind was chaos — the unknown. I chose one picture that reflects both stages of the journey.

Left side — today: I live with chaos and uncertainty. My mind is full of thoughts and constant reflection. Sometimes this is a strength; sometimes it feels like a curse. I take in more and more until everything becomes tangled. It can be scary, yet there is also excitement when I manage to untangle it and move forward.
Right side — future: At times, I untangle the chaos on my own; at other times, with the support of coaches, mentors, and friends. Then people already come to me with their questions and struggles. This is why I see this coaching journey as something that will help me first — and later allow me to support others in navigating their own life questions.
It is one picture, yet it holds both stages — a connected journey. Between the tangled lines and the straight line ahead, I am learning to walk with balance. From chaos to clarity.
And when listening to others, although we come from a diverse group, we have so many things in common. We just address them in different ways, shaped by who we are. Maybe that’s the reason we find ourselves together in this coaching class.
Thank you.
